2: Beginning Machine Sewing

This course is designed for Beginners with little or no machine sewing experience to those individuals looking to update or refresh their skills using a sewing machine. It covers the basic use and care of a sewing machine, fundamental sewing techniques and tools, fabric types and selection and how to use and read a fabric pattern.

We have machines on site for you to use.

Minimum age to take this class is 8 years old. Each minor under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a supervising adult to every class at no extra cost if they are not a student.

After taking the first course students are invited to learn new sewing techniques in our Advanced Sewing Class.

This class runs in a 4 week morning session usually starting the first Saturday of the month, please check our class calendar or call us at (910)485-4833 for details.
